The National and Junior National Team
Any registered swimmer in Vanuatu can be selected for the national or junior national team — it doesn’t matter which club you swim with, or if you swim independently. Selection is based on your race times, attitude, and commitment. To be eligible, you just need to be a registered VAF swimmer. Train with your club, race at domestic and international meets, and let your times do the talking.
Swimmers who register with VAF can compete in domestic meets, and citizens may represent Vanuatu overseas if selected for specific meets.
The Squad at Stade
To grow participation in competitive swimming, VAF is now offering two squad programs through the Stade Aquatics Hub. These programs provide a structured training pathway for swimmers who might not otherwise have access to club-level coaching.
Swimmers register as VAF members but their annual registration fee is waived as your squad fee will cover your annual fee.
