Join the Stade Swim Squad

Junior Squad (ages 8–13) For young swimmers ready to move beyond lessons and into structured training. Junior Squad focuses on stroke technique, endurance building, and competition readiness in a supportive team environment. Sessions run twice weekly.

Senior Squad Our competitive training program for experienced swimmers preparing for regional and international competition. Sessions are coached by a coach and run three times per week, focusing on race preparation, advanced technique, and fitness.

We offer swimming classes for all ages, from toddlers to adults. Each program is designed to cater to different skill levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment.

A detailed class schedule is coming soon!

Level 1 – Swimmers who cannot go underwater yet. By the end of this level, swimmers will be able to go under water, and float on their front and back with assistance from an instructor.

Level 2 – Swimmers who are comfortable going under water but need to work on floating and treading water. By the end of this level, swimmers will be able to do an unassisted streamline, float on their front and back unassisted.

Level 3 – Swimmers who are comfortable going underwater, floating on their front and back and can do a streamline. By the end of this level, swimmers will be able to do basic freestyle and backstroke.

Level 4 – Swimmers who can do basic freestyle and backstroke but want to refine their strokes. By the end of this level, swimmers will be able to swim freestyle with bilateral breathing, swim a full length of the pool in freestyle and backstroke, and learn the basics of breaststroke.

You can register online or in person. See registration links above. Check the detailed after school or weekend timetable to find your swim slot level and time. When you click the registration form, tick which time slot and level you are registering in. 

Swimmers who miss a class will be offered to do a make up class (based on availability) free of charge. Students signed up for 1 lesson a week per month get 1 make up class. Students signed up for 2 lessons a week per month get 2 make up classes. Students signed up for 3 lessons a week per month get 3 make up classes. Make up classes do not carry forward and they are not transferrable to another student. Talk to the Pool Coordinator to schedule your make up class.

Not right now. We’re focused on teaching as many ni-Vanuatu to swim as we can, which means our pool time is precious! However, there are many private businesses in Port Vila who offer these types of services.
